For the equipment the most important thing I used was a tripod as the camera needed to stay still.
I also used a chair as I needed my subject to actually be on something so that later the chair could be edited out so that she appeared to be floating. And obviously a Canon T3i Camera to actually take the photos needed to get the desired affect.
When taking my pictures I at first wanted to take them in front of a wall but after looking at them while editing I knew I had to try something different.
I then decided to take my photos where there was a few things in the background that could be blurred to make my subject stand out a bit more.

For the props the only props I ended up using were these two hula hoops.
The effect was to make it seem like she ->
was going through the hula hoops and as if the hula hoops are the ones holding her up.
My picture did end up working and I think the main reason is because of the background that I used as its blurry so my subject stands out more but also because I edited the photo so it does look like my subject is floating.
Next time I would probably try using more props as I had only used props once for the hula hoop photo.
So next time I probably use a book or even an umbrella to get a Mary Poppins effect.
